My name is Rachel Buford. I am pursuing a major in child life specialty. I am a member of Alpha Chi Omega. I have served on many different committees in my past year at Oklahoma State through Alpha Chi Omega. I was involved in Panhellenic meetings, the process of selecting a new sorority for Oklahoma State’s Greek community, as well as being a teaching assistant for a student development and leadership in fraternities and sororities. My future aspirations with my major are to work with children and their families and to be able to give back to people in their time of need. I have skills in Photoshop, final Cut Pro,GarageBand, as well as all social media sites. I believe that my experience with both social media as well as other organizations has given me an advantage because I understand how to work well with others and deal with conflict on a professional level.
In my free time I love spending time with children and animals. I think there is something about giving to those that can do nothing for you.
